What do you do at FTA Accountants?

I work as a Senior Bookkeeper.

What is your experience and background?

For five years, I’ve worked as a bookkeeper/senior bookkeeper/receptionist/admin/all-rounder at an accounting firm. Before that, I was an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable for five years at a medical centre in Cairns. And before that, I was a checkout chick at Kmart!

What do you enjoy doing on your weekends?

Sleeping...... and spending time with my fur babies and fiancé. My fiancé and I like playing online games together.

What is your secret talent?

I can be stressed on the inside but look cool as a cucumber on the outside. Or that I can put my feet behind my head.

What is your weakness?

Either sleeping or potatoes... I just can't pass them up.

If you won the lotto, what is the first thing you would do?

Realistically, I should pay off some debt... but I'd probably put it towards our honeymoon/wedding!

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?

Europe. I'd love to go to Italy and eat all the pasta I can fit.

What's your favourite footy team?

It would have to be the Panthers (NRL cause AFL is silly!)

What music do you listen to?

Whatever my ears like. Generally, I like punk rock, rock, 80's (my all-time fav is Working Class Man) or Electronic Dance Music. If I can't feel the bass it's not loud enough.

Where did you grow up?

All over! I was born in Darwin where I spent the first 9 or so years of my life. We then moved to the Sunshine Coast where we lived for about 5 years. We then moved to Cairns in about 2009 where we stayed until I moved back to the Sunshine Coast with my partner for work in 2020. What a great year to move!

What is at the top of your bucket list?

Get married!!! November 2023!

If you weren't an awesome bookkeeper, what would you be?

Probably a stay-at-home dog mom.
