Get to know us a bit better!

What is your experience and background?

I started out my career in London working for a small firm whilst at university before moving to a larger multi-service firm where I honed my tax and client facing experience. Then, moving to Australia, I've continued to work in accounting on the coast servicing clients in a variety of industries including construction, retail, the content creator space and general small business.

What do you enjoy doing on your weekends?

I'll be out in the sunshine during the day, either on an adventure, in the garden, playing golf/tennis, or down at the beach. Once the sun's seen it's day, you'll find me at the nearest TV watching as much NRL, AFL, Football (the English one!), Boxing and UFC as I can. My partners in crime for all of this are my beautiful wife and our newborn daughter.

What is your secret talent?

Once upon a time I was a top 100 Fifa player in Europe.

What is your weakness?

 Mint slices.

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?

The accountant in me first would ensure enough of it is invested for a smooth John Goodman advised 3-5% return (IYKYK). Once that's done I'd buy a bus and spend my mornings doing a round trip of the coast picking up the elderly to take them to the shops and back. I'd then hang up my bus drivers hat and pick up one of the many expensive hobbies I'd adopt. 

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?

Edinburgh, specifically at Christmas.  

What’s your favourite footy team?

Fulham for the actual football. Brisbane for the AFL. Jaguars for the NFL and the Dolphins in the NRL. 

What music do you listen to?

Everything and anything. It depends on the mood. Professor Green for the London moods, Phillip Glass for when there's more of a delicate piano score required. Kansas when it's a windows down drive home on the Bruce. My go to karaoke is almost anything by Robbie Williams.

Where did you grow up?

In a small town (known for the one bus that travels through it) called Crayford, in Kent, just outside of London. 

What is at the top of your bucket list?

Travelling Asia and NZ.... and more tattoo's!

If you weren’t an awesome accountant, what would you be?

Prior to my journey into accounting I was part way through an application with MI5... maybe I saw it through... maybe it's all a cover.
